LifeTone Studio provides dementia-focused vibroacoustic therapy for people living with dementia, the families who love them, and the organizations that support them.
A research-informed, noninvasive approach designed to support more opportunities for calm, connection, engagement, and meaningful response.
For Individuals & Families
Could VAT help your loved one hold on to more of who they are—with more clarity, connection, and continued engagement in life?
LifeTone’s dementia-focused VAT pathway explores more than relaxation. It is designed to support the person’s continued presence, responsiveness, participation, and connection over time.
For Organizations
Could VAT add a meaningful supportive option for the people and caregivers you already serve?
Your organization already supports people living with dementia and the families who care for them.
LifeTone partners with organizations through education, demonstrations, caregiver programming, small dementia-focused pilots, and thoughtfully designed VAT services.
What is Vibroacoustic Therapy?
A supportive experience you can hear—and feel.
Vibroacoustic therapy, or VAT, uses carefully selected low-frequency sound vibrations delivered through specialized equipment, together with music or sound.
The vibrations are experienced through the body while the person rests comfortably. The experience is noninvasive and does not require the participant to follow instructions, complete exercises, or communicate verbally.
At LifeTone Studio, VAT is used as a supportive approach for people living with dementia, with particular attention to opportunities for calm, connection, engagement, and meaningful response.
Each person’s response is individual. LifeTone observes what happens during sessions and gathers caregiver feedback about changes that may occur afterward or between sessions.
